I'm feeling blah today. I don't know why. I think it's a combination of feeling really stressed over school and getting shoots in. Also the pressure I put on myself to be the best is starting to wear me out. I need to get over it, but I've always been like this. It's just worse now because I really love photography, and I'm so desperate to not be a amateur or a "corny Utah" photographer. I need to stop, but until then, I feel blah.
Here are some things, though. I tried to shoot a photo inspired by Julia Margaret Cameron. Here is one of her photo's for an example. She was a British Photographer back in the 1860's-80's. I love her work.
Here are some of mine...I don't think I was too successful, but that's what school is about. Learning. The failure is what causes you to learn and grow, and hopefully become better!!
I'm actually going to be printing some of these with the VanDyke and Cyanotype processes. I also have some 3200 film that I need to develop. Hopefully those will look cooler. Guess I'll find out. I was going to do it today, but since I have to work today, I didn't feel like standing up for hours. I'll wait for another day.
