Paris: Day 13
Our hotel was in a really nice neighborhood. Ecole la Militaire? I think. It was nice. And we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our hotel room!
Ooo la la! After we relaxed a little from our flight from Athens, and got something to eat, we walked over to the Eiffel Tower. Besides the 1 Euro guys, (African immigrants hawking Eiffel Tower key chains for 1 Euro), it was everything I thought it would be. I've been wanting to go to Paris my WHOLE life! Well, as long as I've known what Paris is. I don't know why. There are cooler places, I'm sure. Heck, I had just been in Greece which was amazing! But there was just something about Paris that lived up to everything I thought it would be. Sooo worth the wait...
We decided to take a night cruise on the Seine. It was a really nice way to spend the evening. We got to see all the bridges and monuments lit up for the night. It was perfect for us travel weary girls...
This is what happens when you take a self portrait with a DSLR. It's heavy, so I am basically trying my hardest to hold it up with one hand, as a result you can see up my nose. Plus, I forgot to take of my lens hood, that's what the big dark blot is...Oh, this is us on the boat...
This was the view waiting for the boat to leave...
This is as we pulled away...If you look closely, you can see the Eiffel tower sparkling...
My first Parisian bridge!!! I almost fell off the boat I was so excited...
I thought the water looked really cool in this photo...
Viva le France!!
This is my favorite bridge, the Pont Alexandre III. I love it so much.
Notre Dame! I stopped taking pictures after this because it was raining, and I was getting annoyed that everything was a blur. Oh well.
I LOVED PARIS. I think a little bit more than Greece. Next time, Versailles! Oh, and I have some bridals to post about too...Till next time, Au Revoir!

Alix and Liman...
So another engagement, I know I need to post something new...I'm getting to it. Actually, I'm just too lazy to go find my external hard drive and plug it in and hook it up, and edit my last day of Greece pictures. You all are just going to have to wait. Plus, I still am editing out the sunburn's on my USVI pics. I took these last week at Liberty Park, and it was a lot of fun. I'm so happy that Alix is so happy. I used to work at Barnes with her, before she moved on to bigger and better paying things, lol.
I really love how sparkly the trees look in this one. They also remind me of this French painting I saw once.
I LOVE lens flare. Just so you know.
I love taking pictures...

Kasey and Chris...
So a few weekends before I went to the Virgin Islands, I took engagement pictures for Kasey and Chris. They are friends of my sister, Jaynie. I can see why photography is such an addiction for people. They were SOOO much fun. I love what I do! I can't wait until I can say it's my job. I'm so excited to take Kasey's bridals. She is so beautiful, like a model. She is the kind of sporty, outdoorsy person I wish I could be, lol. We hiked up to a really beautiful waterfall, and then went to Park City and took pictures. Afterwords, Chris took us to Rodizio Grill, which was AMAZING!!! I've never been there, and the food was just sooo good. Thanks again, Kasey and Chris! I had a blast...
This was the insane mountain we had to climb DOWN! It was like rock climbing to get out. It was actually kind of fun. That one is for you Rachael! And yes, I took pictures in the little lake. My feet almost froze off. How I suffer for my art, lol.
After this lovely ten-minute (yeah right. Only if you are crazy in shape Kasey) hike, we went off and took pictures on Park City's main street. We thought we'd have some variety in the pictures...
Kasey really wanted pictures at this bistro, but they were all packed up, so we went in and asked if we could set up one of their tables to take pictures, and they were so nice about it! We should have ate there for thanks, but we didn't. Rude!
This was the best time. I can't even explain how much fun I had. They are the cutest couple, plus Jaynie was there. It was just amazing.

It's that time of year...
Friday evening, I had the opportunity to photograph and engagement session for CJ and Morgan. They are high school sweethearts. I have known them forever, it seems like. CJ grew up with my youngest sister, Jaynie. Morgan is even distantly related to me. Fun times. We had a lot of fun, and they were very patient with me since I'm still getting the hang of this photographer thing...
CJ really wanted to incorporate yellow props, so we decided to go with balloons. We met by Temple Square, and walked all around downtown looking for the perfect spots. I had fun, and I hope they did too. I hope they love their pictures...
I'm off to the US Virgin Islands tomorrow for my friend's wedding, so I won't be around for a bit. I'm going to try and post-date some blog posts with some more of Greece, another engagement shoot, and maybe something else. Wahoo for trips! And taking pictures!
